The grade 7 learners embarked on a successful trip to Durban in August 2009. The learners stayed in the premises of the Transhaven Seaside Fund. The accommodation was very weel suited to our requirements and the views of the sea and surrounding areas were breathtaking.
The learners had the opportunity to visit Ushaka Marine World and learn more of the creatures of the sea. This proved to be a very educational experience as well as lots of fun.
They also had the opportunity of learning more of conservation in the form of the Mangrove swamps, situated in the Durban area.
Lots of fun were had by all.
This will be an annual trip that will be undertaken by the grade 7's as from this year.
